I have a long history on the open seas but have been a land lubber for a while. I find it interesting that one of the ways I used to do things is back and while it is the same many of the tools and methods have changed.
So I feel like I am a newborn baby with this. I have just grasped the understanding of an indexer and now looking at providers. I know there is maps and whatnot etc. etc. etc.
I just have 2 questions(with sub questions):
- With indexers do they normally tell you what providers they index? If not, is there a way usually to tell what provider the entry is coming from that the indexer is picking up?
- Pricing… why is there block vs. unlimited? The big factor between the two seems to be speeds and connections however looking at the ones I have been looking at there seems to be an “unlimited|unlimited” tier for what appears to be WAAAAAYYYYY less than any of the block pricing with just as many connections etc. Why do they offer either/or?
