I have a long history on the open seas but have been a land lubber for a while. I find it interesting that one of the ways I used to do things is back and while it is the same many of the tools and methods have changed.

So I feel like I am a newborn baby with this. I have just grasped the understanding of an indexer and now looking at providers. I know there is maps and whatnot etc. etc. etc.

I just have 2 questions(with sub questions):

  1. With indexers do they normally tell you what providers they index? If not, is there a way usually to tell what provider the entry is coming from that the indexer is picking up?
  2. Pricing… why is there block vs. unlimited? The big factor between the two seems to be speeds and connections however looking at the ones I have been looking at there seems to be an “unlimited|unlimited” tier for what appears to be WAAAAAYYYYY less than any of the block pricing with just as many connections etc. Why do they offer either/or?
