hello! i’ve been traveling europe and the uk for the past 3 weeks and i purchased a louis vuitton bag while in paris last week. we left paris via train to switzerland and i was told not to claim until leaving back to the us. i saw the tax refund desk at the zurich airport, but once again that was not our final destination, so i didn’t get my stamp. we are flying back to the us tomorrow from heathrow and i just found out that the uk has discontinued their participation in vat refunds. i’m absolutely sick thinking about the fact that i’ve missed out in this money. is there any possible way that can still get a stamp or am i completely out of luck? it’s my fault for not completely understanding, but just thought i would see if there’s any chance that i’m missing. thank you!
