Hello,
I’m diving into some work with food photography currently which has been fun. For personal work I shoot landscapes & I’m open to shooting some documentary style food & beverage shots.
My shooting style for food is very unconventional meaning I’m leaning into film or shooting with Fuji film simulations.
The looks I want to achieve are cinematic in a way & I’m always going to be shooting in various lighting situations. Like bright natural light and to the opposite extreme a dark night club type location.
I’m not sure what to start with or what would be the best I’m aiming to spend less than $1k. I currently have a reflector and small budget Fuji flash.
I’m considering into buying a godox for Fuji but I’m open to other options. Some explanations on different setups would also be helpful.
I’m also the type of person that is willing to spend extra if it means the product is more durable & versatile vs something that is used for one purpose!!!
