After having a cheap, underpowered GPU for the longest… finally saved up and got a 4080 Super (MSI).

Although the 4080 Super comes with a 16-pin to 3x8pin PCIE cable, and the manual tells you to use it, I just used a single 16 pin cable that came with the PSU, going directly from the PSU to the GPU.

Is that fine? It’s working. Just wondering if it negatively affects performance or could lead to other issues.
