I know quite a question to answer but my husband and I are planning our next trip to mid-June. Aiming for 9-10 days. We have been to Ireland and loved it! We’ve done many countries in Europe too (Italy, France, Provence, Austria, Germany, London)— never done Scotland or Slovenia. We prefer natural landscapes and cute, charming towns and views over cultural/museums/history elements. We love when we can escape and rent a car and drive through countrysides and have views and walk through towns. For example in Italy we absolutely loved Tuscany and Cinque Terre. And we had three best time driving throughout Ireland and exploring all the coasts/towns (shoutout to Kinsale for being our favorite).
For this trip we were thinking of combining English countryside with Scotland OR Slovenia and Budapest or Croatia.
Heard great things about both but having a hard time deciding! We’re both 33 and no kids yet so trying to live it up. Appreciate any recs on which is best or recs for what to do for each! Thanks!!
