I put over 1k into it this week only for none of the issues addressed to actually be the problem. It would take more than it’s worth to fix, so I have to let it go.
I loved the car. Mainly its look, how it’s a small suv, the fact it’s a jeep— but it had a lot of repairs over the five years I had it. I want something that I still find aesthetically attractive, but reliable. I want to be able to take cross country trips and camp with the car. I would preferably like another small suv. I’m from Oregon where both subarus and Jeeps are popular, which are the two i’ve been considering. Jeep wranglers appeal to me so much, but I have heard the stories of unreliability. However, i’m not planning to do off-roading, so maybe it would be okay for what I want? Subaru crosstreks seem good, but aren’t very attractive to me. I don’t want to overextend myself financially so i’m trying not to make an overly emotional decision. Any ideas?
