We will be taking our fourth “shower” without hot water in the morning. The landlords have acknowledged the problem but given no timeline for repairs, but that is their minimum responsibility. The only recourse is that we can potentially break our lease with cause and join the literal thousands vying for apartments in our small Midwestern city this time of year. There are people in this state working fulltime jobs that earn MUCH less annually than we pay just for this shitty apartment.
