I was doing benchmark test on 7900 XT while runing Tomb Raider. I had everything cranked up including RT on ultra. At some point during benchmark i heard loud BANG and my PC went dark. For few minutes i tryed to start PC again but nothing happened so i chilled for aboit 10 minutes and tryed again. When i started PC it turned on and just stayed like that. Then i pressed power button 3 more times and PC booted. Everything seems to work fine nothing is damaged. Afer that i just turned it off and now i dont know what to do. I’m using 750w Platinum Seasonic PSU with 5800x3d/7900 XT. My 7900 XT is OC/UC and it is pulling 365w while my CPU is pulling 85-115w in full load. 365+115=475. Peak PowerDraw from 7900 XT OC (spike) is 420. Even with all in total my system can pull max 535W. That is still way lower then 750. And i have good PSU with platinum certificate and 10 year waranty. What caused this loud bang and shut down? Should i keep using my PC or just leave it like that until i bring it to PC maintance? My PC,Monitora,Speakers are connected to extended cord maybe that had some sort of attack and turned everything off? I had some old extend cord from who knows when which i used with my old 5700 XT but 7900 XT draws lot more power. But it worked fine for last 3 months without any issues. Never had any shut down till now. Today PC wont turn on. When i press power button everything goes on includimg RGB,fans,GPU,RAM and after 10 secs just goes down.
