I booked a hotel through Priceline, but had to cancel due d/t a medical issue. I was refunded for my stay but they withheld the penalty charges because I canceled the day prior. Mind you, the site says you will receive your full refund if it’s the day before. But, it really means if it’s 2 days before the trip smh. I got in contact with them about refunding the penalty charges, they agreed. This has been almost a month now and they still haven’t refunded me fully. I call, the automated system states I’ve only been partially refunded. I speak to live rep and they claim it’s been issued. They’ve been having a such a problem trying to locate my refund and give me the run around whenever I call. One of their “supervisors” even made me call my bank while he was on mute to see if I was lying about not receiving my refund! On mute so idk if he was documenting my bank info or not!!! This was the only way he claimed I would be able to get my refund. I called the bank for a new bank card right after! Does anyone know how to contact the American side of Priceline? Who do I ask for? I’ve never known a company to force a customer to call their bank while they’re on mute while a customer gives their personal information. I will never use Priceline again
