I’m switching over from Yongnuo to Godox flashes and bought two X2T triggers and four TT600 single pin manual flashes. I’m using these on Fujifilm XT-4’s.
I have an older set of Yongnuo flashes (YN6560III’s and YN660’s) and triggers (YN605 and YN560TX) I was hoping to run through the passthrough while I make the full transition to Godox. Neither X2T trigger will run them. I can reverse it place the X2T or a TT600 on top of my Yongnuo RF605 and the Yongnuo passthrough works flawlessly.
Funny thing is, everything works whenever I hit the test button on the X2T. And hitting the shutter triggers the wireless Godox flash still. So I know the connection is good and the potential for it all to work is there. Test fire works on both the hot shoe and the PC sync. The X2T also won’t even fire a Godox TT600 when it’s in manual mode on the passthrough shoe, but will test fire it. But any time I hit the camera shutter, it fails to fire the directly mounted flash/trigger.
Both X2T’s are functioning the same way on all tests, and I have full operation of the Godox TT600 flashes when connected wirelessly to the triggers. I have gone through all of the menu settings on the camera, triggers, and flashes. I’ve tried basically every combination I can think of of curtain sync, PC sync port in/out, and manual mode of the flashes. I cannot for the life of me figure this out.
What am I missing, here? Godox triggers won’t even fire Godox flashes? I greatly appreciate any help or insights.
