Per my extremely accurate/detailed pic below, cat6 was recently dropped into the closet roughly behind the wall where a tv will go. They haven’t completed the job yet but the plan was to simply terminate it in a jack behind the tv area (along with power which they also dropped from attic).

However, I’m thinking we should also put a jack to the right of the closet door, to use in the future for a computer on the desk.

Is the best option to just put a small switch in the closet, terminate the cat 6 from attic into a female end (to go into switch), and then connect two cat6 from the switch (one to each jack)?

Or are there better/simple options? I do see that splitters exist (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C2PWJFDJ), but they seem to not get great (or many at all) reviews.

I don’t feel like having them up in the attic again to run another cable.

Thank you.
