I’m looking to buy either one of these two, but from what information I gathered so far I understood that:

  • The ASUS fans run a bit quieter, but has coil whine;
  • The Gigabyte one is cooler, but the fans are louder (better cooling is a better option for me);
  • The ASUS build quality is better (metal instead of plastic);
  • The Gigabyte has more power limit;

With that being said, the different in price for them is like 30-40$, so money isn’t really an issue. Just wanted to state all of these above and ask if what I found was true. If so, I am inclined to go with the Gigabyte one because I’m looking for a cooler card that runs a bit faster and stable (Gigabyte is OC by default, so I won’t have to do it for the ASUS and mess things up or push it to far as I’m not an OC expert, just basic understanding).

Therefore, does anyone have anything to say regarding above? Should I just trust my gut and go with the Gigabyte or do you guys suggest going with the ASUS for various other reasons? I would love to get your input on this and experiences with these cards.

Thank you in advance and may you have a wonderful week ahead!
