If they could manufacture more, they definitely would do it to increase their revenue and market share. It’s not like they are witholding to artificially increase prices, everything we see now is a byproduct of crazy demand for chips and the TSMC’s near monopoly. Even NVIDIA can be (at least partially) excused, because publicly traded companies are required to maximize profits, so why would they give up more lucrative markets to focus on gamers? It’s not like they have much choice in this matter.

Don’t be a fanboy of any company, but also don’t be a hater. Criticize bad choices, bad managers etc, but not a whole company just because they make necessary choices caused by external factors.
