Hi everyone,

My primary ISP is isp1, and I’ve always used my Google Nest WiFi with isp1’s modem without any issues. Recently, isp1 service was cut, so I switched over to my backup provider, isp2, and the Nest worked fine with isp2’s modem. Now that isp1 service has been restored, I reconnected the Nest to the isp1 modem, and it no longer gets internet—although connecting a device directly to the isp1 modem works perfectly.

What I’ve Tried: • I haven’t changed any configuration (I’m not familiar with how to do this). • I’ve rebooted both the Nest and the modems. • I don’t have any logs or specific model/firmware details.

Questions: • Has anyone experienced similar issues after a service cut and restoration? • Could this be related to ISP re-provisioning (e.g., DHCP or MAC binding changes) even though I didn’t change any settings on my end? • What troubleshooting steps or checks would you recommend to help pinpoint the cause without overlooking potential factors?

Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
