Hi guys,

I tried going through the subreddit to find answers myself but I just need some guidance.

Lately, my ISP started partially blocking my IPTV provider and I think the only solution is VPN (up to now changing the DNS Server worked but not any more). Since my Samsung TV doesn’t support VPN I think the only other solution would be via router. However my ISP issued modem doesn’t support it so I want to connect another router to it and set up VPN there.

I find any information I read about the topic to be too “expert” level, people talking about 1Gbps speeds, dd-wrt, raspberry pi 4, etc and this all seems a bit too much for my use with 100Mbps speeds.

Can someone give me any tips or point me in the right direction, any links I should read or something?

Ideally I would want to try it with a free service like Proton just to know that it works than switch to paid ones (I heard Surfshark is good).
