I was in a pretty toxic community and had the ideology that a $250 - $500 motherboards with higher quality components and design research / development with loads of features, like higher quality components, like onboard soundcards**,** premium digital PWM, direct 19+1+2 phases with 105A Smart Power Stage, Titanium Choke III, are pointless wastes of money and it makes no sense to spend the extra money on a board marketed as higher quality. Like why have a MSI Z690 Ace Meg when you can ave a cheap MSI PRO Z790-S 150$ or and even lower quality and cheaper GIGABYTE Z790 S for 139$
It just didn’t seem like an educated or correct statement, so I’m asking here, because I know people here have some good idea on build quality in terms of motherboards, does it make a difference? higher quality capacitors, gold plated, better electrical components, traces, that sort of thing.
