can anyone suggest a good notes app like the app on the macbook?
- easy to use
- dark mode (important)
- nice and plain gui
- NO ACCOUNT REQUİRED
- NO İNTERNET REQUİRED
- without any cloud service
just a simple offline note taking app with a few features?
i use linux since a year now and thought about it today and did a little research. found a few good looking like simplenote. installed it and the first thing i saw was a login page…was a little confused…deleted it and searched for another one…standard notes…installed it and just wanted to throw up really…
so before installing something else i wanna ask here if someone has a suggestion?
what are you guys using for note taking or don’t you even need that?
edit: someone here suggested a self hosted alternative so if anyone have experience and a nice stable setup i really would appreciate it if u can share it with world:)
if it’s possible and easy to run a server for data synching on a raspberry pi zero 2 w and a good opensource notes app and maybe other apps where self hosting makes more sense please share:)
