I have a dell optiplex 5050 with a i5-6500 running good temps were great even under load and the fans would ramp up under load too.

I upgraded the cpu to a i7-7700 and I’m sure the repasted it right and seated the cooler well.

But for some reason the fans aren’t ramping up to cool down the cpu under load. And under load it’s getting to 90 degrees celsius.

Any help?
