Genuine question here. In my city (I’m sure it’s like this all over the world) but my city I’ve noticed they tend to really hate BMWs, Mercedes, Audi even Porsche. Like anything more I guess luxury.

Why?

By hate I mean like comments like “oh typical bmw driver” or “oh look at that dummy in the Audi”

But meanwhile I’ve seen posts of the same thing in say a Cadillac or a Lexus both also luxurious cars but they don’t seem to get the comments the German cars do?

I guess my question is why do German cars get hated on when other car brands do the same thing? I don’t get where this brand = asshole came from cause there are alot of assholes in non German cars as well but they don’t get the hate online or even irl.
