Maybe Im just bored today as I don’t usually engage on social but I often read the various narratives & scenarios mostly as a form of entertainment.
I’m a seasoned/frequent flyer … I’m trying to comprehend this occurrence where seemingly some passengers knowingly take someone else’s PAID for assigned seat- and either refuse to move or become hostile when the rightfully assigned passenger tries to claims their ticketed seat? Is this a real thing??? Is this just a sad commentary & reflection on the current state of humanity (in the U.S.?) I’m genuinely baffled? Soo what’s stopping a person who purchased a basic economy seat claiming a seat in an otherwise premium cabin???
EDIT: Ahhh thank you all (so far) for the informed perspective(s.) Seems like maybe I’ve fallen victim to the “integrity issues” that apparently is part and parcel to social media. There’s so much going on in the world that concerns me but for some reason this particular issue did my head in for a second 🧐
