I have asked this before but this is a bit different.

What is better 4k webDL 5.1 DD Dolby Atmos vs 1080p Bluray remux 7.1 channel audio or 5.1 lossless but no Atmos (I know sometimes they do now have atmos).

On a modern 4K movie, say Paddington in peru. What is better? I know the bluray is bigger but I hear the encoding is the issue and at 1/2 the size the 4k could be similar quality or better if it is coming from a 4k source with better encoding.

I know old movies not remastered for 4k, with 4k upscale web releases will not be better than the 1080p bluray. Also, no one seems to do hybrid 4k web releases with lossless audio from the bluray.
