Could be a dumb question but I’m really curious. Right now I’m watching a YouTube video in 1080p. My integrated graphics should be more than capable to decode it so that my dedicated GPU stays quiet. Instead, dedicated GPU is decoding it, ramping up fans, and consuming more power.

Is there a way for me to tell Windows to use iGPU when I’m just chilling on desktop/browser?

EDIT: specs are Ryzen 7 7800X3D + RTX 3080 Ti.

EDIT 2: I’m dumb. I had “Boost Clock” enabled in Precision X1, which basically forced my dGPU to P-State all the time.
