Its my first time purchasing an AMD chip this year. Knew nothing regarding overclocking and optimizing these chips going in. I’ve done some light reading and played around with some of the settings.
Boost Override - 200
Undervolt (-30 on 6, -10 on 2 strongest)
PPT - lowered to 115, I like lower load temps
Soc Voltage - lowered to 1.15 (was ~ 1.25 on auto)
So far so good, been running these for about a week with no issues. Are there other settings / tweaks I can look into? I prefer a quiet / cool computer vs maximum performance. Right now CPU idles under 45C, and load temps top out around 80C in any games / stress tests that I have tried. I’m pretty happy with those ranges.
