I won’t go into too much detail but there is a show that runs live on its own website and also hosts edited episodes as they are made. There’s some controversy going on involving this show and the memberships for it, as well as the producers may or may not have changed the terms of what buying a membership actually means to the extent that original purchasers were promised downloadable copies of this show once the seasons were finished and they eventually went back on that and hosted them on the website instead.

Because of this I would like to rip all of the episodes that are available from this website and either add them to the Internet Archive or make them available to download as a torrent. I’ve tried using JDownloader2 as well as a couple of video ripping extensions but nothing can seem to actually grab the videos. When I inspect the page and try to get down to the player I end up finding a link from iframe.mediadelivery.net with the encrypted-media tag.

How can I get JDownloader or yt-dlp or something like that to recognize this link and download it?
