Using the latest OCCT, got a 5080 delivered today.

Am testing OC using both games and 3D standard/Adaptive

+550 worked great in games, including 2077 with path tracing at DLSS quality

Meanwhile, even +525 fails 30 sec into 3D standard when at an 85% load. +520 on the other hand runs for at least 5 minutes (haven’t been able to test longer.

+525 3D adaptive extreme running fine for 5 minutes, and variable for 30 minutes.

Not sure how to interpret these results. My initial understanding was that 3D adaptive would better reveal errors - but 3D standard seems wildly more sensitive. Is this normal?

5080 seems to have a lot of headroom btw :)
