I recently bought a house in the Netherlands and this is the kitchen. I love the rest of the house and doesn’t need any work, but the kitchen is bothering me because I feel it’s really ugly - too grey/bulky/clinical. I want it to be warm and inviting, have a bit of color, have some stuff on display.

I have never tackled a DIY project this big and need your help with “easy” fixes that would elevate this kitchen to a more organic look - What would you do with this kitchen?

Things I’ve thought about:

  • Completely wrapping all doors + the big metal divider between cabinets (really not sure what to do about those dividers)

  • Take out the top cabinets and replace with shelves to display my pretty plates + mugs

  • Wrap the counter top in a wooden vinyl

  • Change handles ? to what exactly?

I’m really overwhelmed so any tips are appreciated!!
