I installed an AMD Radeon RX 580 into a decent gaming comp with Windows 11 Pro and 32 GB ram, and when I have an Asus ROG Strix XG49VQ 49" plugged into the DisplayPort the monitor appears normal at 3840 x 1080, however when I plug a second monitor (KTC 27 Inch 4K UHD Computer Monitor, IPS 3840×2160) into the HDMI port, the resolution changes on the 49" monitor making it looks stretched and out of proportion. The 4k monitor looks fine. Changing monitor resolutions in the Display settings does not solve the problem. ChatGPT said the video card should be able to handle operating both of these monitors with ease. I tried to run the AMD Adrenaline software, but it would not load properly, and I just get an error when I try to run the installed app. This is a Windows 11 Pro machine with good CPU and relatively newer gaming build that I am using for an office machine. Any ideas about how to configure the Asus to operate properly are much appreciated, or did I get screwed by an reliance on AI?
