My new graphics card is preventing me from using Debian 12, im not the type of person to constantly update and monitor my system and check for updates that might break my system and I just want it to work, Debian 12 is precisely this, but, my RX7800XT is preventing me from using Debian 12 due to it not being supported on the kernel or mesa, it really is a shame.

I’ve tried installing Debian 12 normally and through the live image but I just can’t get it working. Keeps showing up gpu errors.

I’ve been distrohopping a long time and it’s finally dawned on me that using these bleeding edge distros just keep giving me random bs issues that I don’t have time to deal with, really the amount of issues are countless.

Ubuntu is the only other Debian based platform that has worked on my system aside from testing, and simply put I do not want to use Ubuntu or else I wouldn’t be on here.

Edit: GNOME JUST WORKED??? well it’s software rendering but kde would not boot at all. thank you all
