I’m a freelance photographer who has recently formed an LLC as a sole member. I also work occasionally as an assistant to another photographer and receive a 1099 from them at the end of each year. Would I be able to treat that income I earn from assisting as part of my business income as a photographer? This may be a silly question and this also may not be the right place to ask it, but I figured someone here may have the answer.
