For reference I am in the process of making a new build centered around a 5080 gpu and 9800x3d cpu. I have been playing on an ips 1080p monitor since I first build my pc in 2019 and want to make an upgrade. I am currently budgeting $500-$700 for the new monitor. I prefer playing on a 27inch monitor. I currently play mostly competitive fps games and mobas. Should I go up to 1440p or 4k and is an oled monitor worth it? Any and all recommendations would be greatly appreciated and feel free to ask for more info.
