I’ve never found a resolution. For a couple of years, I have to verify local data as a habit because of a high probability that whatever I’m downloading has a corrupt piece, but Transmission doesn’t see it yet.

A file gets to 100% and when I pause it, the app stalls. I have to force it closed. When I reopen Transmission the file is not at 100% and has to re-download some of it — sometimes MOST of it.

However if I verify data before I hit pause, it usually finds the corrupt piece. If it crashes, and I reopen and THEN verify data, it saves me from having to download most of it again although it’s never at 100%. There’s always a chunk to re-download.

I’ve kept it up to date and this has happened over many versions
