I’ve always loved reading about glitches in the matrix and today I experienced one myself.
I live with my aunt and uncle, and last night they made breakfast for dinner and set aside a plate for me. My aunt made 6 hard boiled eggs, she had one and my uncle had two, they set aside a plate for me in case I was hungry but I ended up going out for dinner that night. This morning I had the leftovers for breakfast. There were 3 pancakes, a piece of bacon and the 3 remaining eggs. I ate 2 eggs, and the rest of the breakfast and threw the third egg in my lunch bag for work. Today when it was lunchtime I looked in my bag and there were 2 eggs!!! One was definitely the one from breakfast cause I poked holes in it cause I had microwaved it, the other had no holes. I’ve been tracking my meals because I’ve been going to the gym and have been trying to stay in a surplus to gain muscle and had logged 2 eggs for breakfast and 1 for lunch. My aunt says she only made 6 eggs and I must have not eaten the second one this morning but I had my lunch and breakfast logged for the day already and I know for a fact I ate 2 not just 1 cause my lunch today was scheduled for 2pm and I wanted to eat a big breakfast to tide me over.
Anyways, I’ve been thinking about this all day, where did the extra egg come from!!??
TL;DR My aunt made 6 hard boiled eggs, she had 1 and my uncle had 2. I had 2 eggs for breakfast and packed the last one in my lunch. In my food journal I logged 3 eggs in total today, but when I was on my lunch break there were 2 eggs and not 1.
