Just rewatched Becky and have been appreciating an Amanda Brugel moment since. When she tells the nazis that there’s no point in her asking Becky to do something because she’s “as strong-willed and vindictive as they come”.

It’s just one part of a sentence of dialogue but her line-read really helps sell the entire movie imo. The way she hits “vindictive” about a 13 year old girl who’s dad was just tortured and murdered is absolutely venomous and injects some gravity to Becky we may have been hedging before due to her being a little girl.

I already liked the movie and already had big love for Amanda Brugel (Pastor Nina anyone?) but just wanted to shout out this little detail that made a big tonal difference. Skilled acting choice and execution!
