Original Title: I’ve been using a ‘Tenda AC1200 Smart WiFi Router’ for a while now, but I’m starting to have issues and want to upgrade, but nothing too much more expensive, just perhaps a little more recent. I really like the bandwidth control it has, can anyone recommend something similar?

I largely play with a wired connection, wifi is used at times but not super actively so I don’t need a wifi-heavy one if that’s a concern. This one has lasted me quite a few years but its cable isn’t connecting into the slot like it used to and its shutting off a lot on its own, I think its at the end of its life. I’m considering just rebuying it since it’s cheap and has done well, but I’m curious if there’s any more recent options that are within a similar price range, a little higher is fine, but better than this one?

Primarily I want to make sure I can keep my bandwidth control settings. We have a lot of Smart TVs on our network but our speed is terrible, only 3MB, so I have to set a limit of 0.4 to them in order for them to load at 720p instead of maxing out our usage. So I’d really like to make sure I can use it to limit bandwidth still.
