Hey all,
I’m down the road on making an interactive art display, and I’ve been using HA to link all the functions together and manage them. (WLED, Music Database, etc)
Now that I’m at the point where I need to design the UI, I want to know if what I’m looking for is possible.
I want folks to be able to use their phone hit a guest wifi network on a router, and then access HA on the LAN, but NOTHING ELSE. No internet, no other local devices, etc. However, HA would still need access to the internet itself.
I was thinking a captive portal might be an idea, but I’m not finding a real way forward…VLAN’s seem like a possible answer too.
Alternatively, should I just have an additional router that’s ONLY connected to my HA machine, and then use a second network card to connect my HA machine to the rest of the interwebs?
Any ideas? Anyone doing anything similar? Should I be looking at other dashboard options instead?
TIA!
