Hello y’all, I posted this a few days ago, but I think I posted at a bad time late at night and few people probably saw it, I got no responses.

When Chat with RTX first released, I installed it with no issues, had some fun with it, and then didn’t touch it for a while. With the new release of the Nvidia app, I saw it offered installation of an updated verision, and tried to install it, but it fails every time. My error is the same as described in this forum post: https://forums.developer.nvidia.com/t/installation-issues-with-chat-with-rtx/282782

TLDR: It shows “Chat with RTX” as “Failed” in the install window, and the two language models as “not installed.” I have an RTX 4070 Super.

The solutions mentioned in that post do not work. At first, I installed to the default location. My user folder does not have any spaces, although the default install location does, since it installs to “Nvidia Corporation” in Program Files (x86). I tried creating a new folder on my C: drive named “ChatWithRTX” and installing there so there’s no spaces, but that did not work either. It always downloads about 10GB of data and then fails.

I tried clearing out all the folders from my initial install of the 0.1 version, but that didn’t work either.

Has anyone managed to get it to install from the Nvidia App after previously installing the stand-alone version?
