Hello everybody.

I got a Fujitsu RX200 S8 server. It has 2 SAS HDDs connected to the backplane.

I have a Fujitsu D2616 raid controller installed where the backplane connects to.

I would like to install Proxmox and use ZFS for it, and from what I could understand so far, I could connect the HDDs directly to the motherboard, bypassing the RAID controller.

However, when I do connect them to the motherboard, it looks like there are no HDDs installed - the Proxmox installer can’t find any. I’ve done the basic checks - the motherboard SAS controller is enabled in BIOS, everything is using latest firmware, etc.

How can I get this working? Am I missing some additional setup?

PS: I also have a D3216-A13 and also D3116 raid controllers on hand
