So just build a new pc and had a sff psu that I used last night to test with (it’s going in my wife’s new sff) Everything worked great, played a game, no problems minus cables being too short so I had to externally install the temp psu. Just got a full sized 850w thermaltake psu put in with a couple of the longer cables. I powered it up, hit the on switch and heard a faint pop from the back of the pc. Now nothing works. Tried the old psu just in case, no change. I’m assuming I popped the mobo somehow? But why?
