It’s amazing how it’s probably cheaper to modify a mass produced tape measure then it’s to reinvent the same thing without the prints. Remember an old YouTube post about an old gps satellite emergency thing that used a tape measure cut to a specific length as an antenna!

The big thing is to understand what can be used when. The coolest thing imo is that someone realised how they could make that thing!
