… but it’s becoming increasingly hard when I see otherwise well-written hit pieces like this one:

the crypto industry is working on “quantum-safe” crypto

which blurs the line between cryptography and cryptocurrency, but also statements like

new cryptocurrencies specifically designed to be quantum-safe could be developed

and

Qubits and bitcoin (sic) can coexist, for now

with no mention of retrofitting existing cryptocurrencies. We’ve also seen recently the use of false headlines basically stating that quantum computing has invalidated or broken Bitcoin specifically, often at odds with article content.

Am I being too sensitive? Are simply seeing the effects of poor journalism, or does this misinformation seem possibly intentional?
