Hello,

My PC shuts down most nights even though I put it into sleep mode. There are some stretches of time where this issue doesn’t come up, but this has been happening for most nights for the past couple of months. I checked Event Viewer, and the only critical errors are Kernel Power 41 errors that occur every time I turn on my PC. Like if I turn on my PC at 4 pm, it says that the error occurred that day at 4 pm, and I don’t know if that is related to the PC shutting off at night. I heard it can be a GPU or PSU problem? My PSU is a Thermaltake Thermaltake Toughpower GF3 1000W and my GPU is a Gigabyte Gaming OC 4070ti. My CPU is a 7800x3d and I am running it with Corsair 32GB 6000MT 30 CL RAM. My motherboard is an ASUS X670P Wifi. I should also note that I had a lot of problems with RAM instability, but it mostly got resolved since I updated my bios. The error happened one more time since then about a week or two ago but hasn’t happened since then (basically the PC takes a long time to boot up, and when it finally does it says that it posted into safe mode because of system instability). I suspect that it has to do with the mobo, and I do have it under warranty, but I really don’t want to take it out. The PC works perfectly fine otherwise, and I am running the RAM at its full 6000MT speed. The PC has never crashed while I am using it except for one time when I had set the PBO offset to -30 or -25 (I don’t remember because it was a couple of months ago), but I just moved the offset up by 5 and it has worked perfectly ever since.

Does anyone know what’s going on or have any recommendations?
