Yes, I’m gaming. And would i like my game to run with ultra max graphics with no lag or drawbacks? Who wouldn’t. But at the same time, I’m using premiere pro for video editing, and im a streamer who plays games on his stream.
So I’m looking to upgrade my PC, with a cpu that can multitask at its finest. However, people say that AMD focuses more into gaming, but I would prefer for my workload (video editing) to be faster, and my streaming to look good without lag, while also having max graphics in games. People say to buy 3d if you want the best performance in gaming, but why would that be a drawback when it comes to workload or multitasking other than gaming in general?
I currently have an i5 10th gen, and as you can imagine, none of these really do the work anymore. Premiere is EXTREMELY slow, but gaming is kinda fineee. I mean, I built the PC like 2 years ago, and it was my first one and still hasn’t changed anything. So I haven’t seen anything else to compare to. I can still play valorant and elden ring at max graphics, HOWEVER, when I’m streaming these games, then I have to REALLY turn down the graphics in order for the stream to not lag. And even when I’m not streaming, I can’t reach max graphics on cyberpunk or hogwarts legacy, for example.
I was also considering the i9 14th gen, but idk. It seems that it’s relying more into workloads and not at all into gaming. + all these that happened recently with the 13th and 14th gen on i9. Which kinda worrys me a LOT. I know nothing about these things, so I might be wrong as well
EDIT: So, apparently, I’m kinda dumb and didn’t know that the 9000 series was out. I wouldn’t know anyway since I’m not following these things and know nothing about them. Anyway, I just saw that the 9900x has the same price with the 7950x at the moment here. It’s even 10 euros cheaper lol.
The 9950x is 200 euros more expensive, so I dont know if I can go with that one, except if I find it in one discount or something. Would it be extremely more worth it though? 👀 Lmao
Also, does the 9900x actually worth it over the 7950x for my needs? Or should I stick to my original question for the 7950x vs the x3d. IM SO CONFUSED IM SO SORRY
