Hi there! So I had recently tried to install Ubuntu 24.04 to dual boot with Windows 10, and after the installation restarted, the GRUB menu was skipped entirely to let Windows boot - with nothing but a blank screen and the cursor constantly working in the background.

I’ve tried looking up information to try and find the problem and solution, but nothing pertaining to what I (think I) need comes up.

I’m a new Linux user, so this could be a really simple problem and I just have no clue, but the last time something similar happened I had inevitably destroyed my SSD so I’m a bit concerned to shut it down.

I just wanna know how I could go about fixing this if possible, or just what to do to solve this.

EDIT: So I did a power cycle, and managed to get Windows to start an automatic repair - it seems installing Ubuntu corrupted the main partition. Trying to fix it, but any help would also be appreciated.
