For our final project on my social justice class, we were tasked with engaging with the public about our final project, and talk about how it can be impactul and beneficial on our fight for social justice. I created a project where using a Culture-Centered Approach we can engage on a deeper level with marginalized communities, the Latino community specially.
Some of the topics that I plan on covering are:
- Better understand the intricacies of intersectional identities in Latino communities.
- Create real change in policies for Latino communities.
- How we can use political communication to improve Latinos experiences.
Ask me anything about how we can use a more personal approach in political communication to reduce the distance within the current political discourse and increase the proximity to marginalized communities!
