My work depends on the weather. So if it snows out like it did today, sometimes my boss says to wait. That’s what happened this morning.

“Snowing like crazy” he says, “wait a bit. I’ll update you in a few minutes.”

I wait…and wait…nothing. I shoot him a text asking for an update. Nothing.

4 hrs later, I get a text: “So you’re not coming in today?”

I send back “You never told me to.”

“I told you twice…”

I send him a screenshot of our exchange. No messages from him. This is not the first time this has happened. My phone has no issues receiving texts from anybody else’s phone except his. But he says I need to get a better phone or fix it.

Not sure what he expects me to do, march over to Verizon? Either way, that’s my mildlyinfuriating story.
