I work in an office Tuesday thru Thursday, data entry and validation type work mainly, so I do not have to be on phones or otherwise dealing with customers. Today, I brought in my MP3 player and headphones, and put on some music while I worked, and for a few songs, I was whisper-singing along, doing my best to be quiet so as not to disturb my coworkers. My boss messaged me on Teams asking me not to do that as it can be distracting to coworkers, which I said I would stop, but there are others that will talk and laugh and such much louder than what I was doing, and, to my knowledge, no one tells them it’s distracting.
