I want to buy a bluray player for hdr+10 , i’ve read that the quality is pretty good, but all discs are too expensive, i would buy only what i really like, but paying a lot for that player only to have few movies feel dumb.

So i was thinking of buying a recorder and some virgin bd discs, and download and record them.

But i don’t know about the protections if the player will actually read them, and if the rips are the same quality that one bought.

Or should i just get a pc and dump everything there. and just play it with a pc… it kills the aspect of the physical media though.

What are your experiences about that?
