Hey guys!

Recently I’ve returned from a small engineering project in USA back to Europe. Instead of a tshirt and a magnet I took back an industrial glass pendant… At the mill in Virginia where I worked they had some of those dismantled and local workers told me that they’re going to waste, so I took one!

Now the only issue is that I don’t have a good idea how to install to the ceiling in my kitchen… Originally pendant was attached to the industrial metal box with a small transformer in it and what not. Now of course I’d use inside just a normal light bulb.

The pendant weights 2,67 kg (5.886 pounds). I am not sure will the ceiling hook hold its weight that is one thing. Second - I tried to google similar type of lamp to find some solution I guess some kind of chain and the cable going with it would be a good idea… but I would need to figure out how to attach it to the upper metal ring. Please find attached all the photos below! I will REALLY appreciate any kind of tip and advice. I’m not so much DIY guy, but I want to become one!

the whole set

dismantled lamp parts

ceiling hook and wire connector

the pendant and the ceiling point where i want to install it

Thank you for your time and regards!
