Hello everyone, I bought a 2nd hand 2080ti Twin fan and I’m facing issues with the temperatures. When I first bought it, the was hitting 84°C while I was gaming and I think it was throttling cos that’s the limit I set in MSI afterburner. Fans were definitely running at 100% in game. So I decided to repaste the GPU(my first time) hoping to lower the temperatures.
My fans now run quieter but it still hits the limit at 84°C. If i blast my fan at 100%, it drops to 82°C and stays there. I have dug around the Internet and I’m at my wits end on what to do because nothing seems to be working. Including a undervolting guide I found online. Seriously how do people keep temperatures of their gpu between the 70-80°C range(sometimes even 60+°C). Do they blast their fans on 100% all the time while gaming?
Hope someone here can help. I have tried repasting thermal paste (twice cos i thought i messed it up the first time), no issues with case airflow(removed side panel, didn’t change anything), undervolting. Nothing seems to help bring down the temperatures. Room temperature is around 28-30°C, I live in a tropical country
